Searching has become easier and faster on “Mstaml”

New updates have been added to the app, most importantly enhancing the search method and speed to help you easily find any listed item across all categories and keywords.

Mstaml – Middle East – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Oct 27, 2024: “Mstaml” has launched the latest version of the system, which is 4.5.5.4 (Click here to download it), which features extensive modifications across all devices and operating systems, This version has undergone significant work, addressing all user issues encountered in the previous version, along with major developments including an improved search section, Now you can easily find any item by simply typing the first word, which will suggest relevant categories and ads, The search also extends to keywords within the ad itself, not just the ad title, Additionally this version includes updates that align with the latest programming standards to enhance browsing ease.
Key points that have been worked on in the new version 4.5.5.4:

1. Improvements have been made to track user movements within the app by adding a new event called “screen_view.”
2. Key updates include:
   – Price Sorting: Users can now sort items by price.
   – Filter Button: A filter button has been added, which opens a modal for filtering options.
   – Price Range Filtering: Users can filter results by specifying a minimum and maximum price.
   
3. Enhancements to the Search and Discussion Modals:

Spell Check: Improved handling of spelling errors, displaying 20 relevant Suggestions based on: Searching for keywords within site categories, For example, searching for “Corolla” will show sections related to “Corolla,” “Cars,” as well as “New Cars,” “Used Cars,” and “Pickups.” Clicking on any section will take the user to that category, displaying all relevant listings.
5. If fewer than 20 results are returned: A request will be sent to the server to extract related keywords from ad titles, ensuring no duplicate results are displayed, Users can then search those keywords while considering subcategories as well.
6. Result Filtering: Results are sorted based on relevance, displaying the most relevant results at the top.
7. Save Previous Searches: The code for saving past searches has been updated to accommodate new scenarios.
8. All these enhancements have been implemented with a focus on maintaining optimal performance.
9. Search Page Improvements:
   – User Navigation Path: Displaying the path the user is currently searching
   – Sort and Filter Buttons: Both buttons are now visible.
10. Delete Conversations: Users can delete conversations along with all associated messages from one side only, without displaying deleted messages.
11. Tracking Visitor Entries: A new event has been added to track the number of times users visit ads from discussions.
12. Action Sheet Code Improvement: The action sheet code has been refined to accommodate all scenarios due to previous issues with distinguishing the currently selected option.
13. Caching Code: A code has been implemented to cache the function for retrieving links to site pages, enhancing overall site performance.
14. Removal of Legacy Code: Some outdated code that is no longer in use has been deleted.
15. Internal Fixes and Updates: Various internal fixes and updates have been made to the app.
